Gaza Hardship Cases

80% of Gaza lives below the poverty line.

An on-going illegal siege on Gaza has restricted food, medical supplies, fuel and construction materials. Palestinians are being denied the capability to function and are in a pitiful state.

High prices, squeezed incomes and overcrowding - induced from the siege - have also created a housing crisis in the strip.

With your support, Ummah Welfare Trust regularly conducts surveys to identify families who need immediate help. Grants of up to £5,000 are administered to targeted families..

The grants are used to repair or reconstruct dilapidated homes that many Gazans live in. Large families with little to no income are prioritised for these grants.

Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah can be given for this unique project one where shelter is provided to our brothers and sisters in blessed Palestine.
