The most affected regions of Burma hit by the cyclone that struck in May 2008, are situated on the coast. Many people lost their boats as a means of generating income. UWT has initiated a project where a fishing boat is given with which they can generate an income.
£300 for a fishing boat in Burma.
The Prophet (pbuh) has said, 'Whoever fulfils the need of his Muslim brother, Allah will fulfil his need, whoever relieves a Muslim from difficulty, and Allah will remove his difficulty on the Day of Judgement.' (Bukhari)
