Aqeeqah

It is mentioned in Ahadith that when a baby is born the parents should perform Aqeeqah for the child by slaughtering two goats or sheep for a boy and one sheep or goat for a girl. The Aqeeqah should be performed on the seventh day after the child is born according to the Sunnah method, but the Aqeeqah can be performed after this day but the Fuqahaa say that it will not earn the same amount of rewards.

Aqeeqah can only be carried out in Pakistan for the time being.
