Giving to the most needed country or project is a highly recommended method since allocation of funds can be made to the most needed project or country at any given time.

This is also the preferred method of many people as any donations for the sake of Allah is not overshadowed by race or colour. The Ummah is like one body and everyone is equal. The only consideration when donating should be the urgency of a country or project and also the reward for donating to certain projects. You can choose any country or project which you feel is most urgent or rewarding when donating.

Price for Most Needy

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has praised the protector/maintainer of widows and the poor, and has deemed him/her as one comparable in virtue to someone who tirelessly strives in Allahs path or as one who worshipfully stands the nights in prayer and continuously spends the days in fasting. (al-Bukhari, Muslim and at-Tirmidhi)
