    UCA Director of Education Visits the UK

    Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) welcomed the visit by Moulana Hussain Ahmad of Pakistan. Moulana Hussain Ahmad is currently the director of education at the trust’s Ummah Children Academy (UCA) in Pakistan. UCA is a large orphanage complex, which has enrolled 200 orphans and upon completion will cater for a 1000 orphans.

    Moulana Hussain Ahmad is visiting the UK as part of a delegation coordinated by the British Counsel and the British Government. Following a series of meetings over the last ten days, on Thursday morning he was welcomed by UWT trustees Shaykh Mohammad, Moulana Idris, and finance director Mohammad Daud at the trust’s Bradford Office. The construction progress of UCA and the development of orphans were at the top of the meeting agenda.

    Director Shaykh Mohammad said after the meeting, “Moulana Hussain Ahmad is a well known respected scholar of Pakistan who is determined to promote education and develop the skills and potential of the orphans at UCA. We believe his visit to the UK will provide him first hand experience of the British Education System and we have exchanged ideas with regards to further promoting vocational courses in Pakistan. As director of education at UCA, he is determined to develop the skills of orphans and I on behalf of the trustees would like to thank him for his determination and dedication.”
