The Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) distributed winterisation kit among 675 flood-affected Afghan refugee families in the worst affected Aza Khel village of Nowshera district on Thursday. UWT spokesman Sahibzada Syed Imran Shah distributed the winterisation kit containing three beds (steel made Charpaees), three quilt, pillows, bed-sheets and mattresses at the residence of Aza Khel, where a large number of survivors including women had gathered.

Similarly, he said the UWT was also providing free medical treatment in different flood-affected areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

He said their volunteers distributed cards among the deserving people one day before the distribution to avoid any mismanagement and provide the relief package to deserving people only. UWT Media Co-ordinator Sher Ali Khan was present on the occasion.
