    Winter kits distributed

    PESHAWAR, Dec 2: Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) distributed winter kits among 675 flood-affected Afghan refugee in the worst affected Azakhail village of Nowshera district on Thursday.

    The organisation’s representative Sahibzada Syed Imran Shah distributed the winterisation kits containing beds, quilts, pillows, bed sheets and mattresses among the survivors.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr Imran highlighted aims and objectives of UWT, saying that it was a non-profit organisation working for humanity in 27 countries all over the world.

    He maintained, that the trust had allocated Rs50 million for the welfare of flood-affected people in Pakistan in order to provide basic relief goods to the people. — Bureau Report
