On the 15th January 2006 a charity football tournament was held at Vida Stoke (Holden Lane High School) with all proceeds going to the South Asia Earthquake Appeal.

The event supported by Vida and the Staffordshire Football Association was a great success raising over 1,500 in entrance fees and donations for the Ummah welfare trust, a charity based in Leicester who is helping the needy in South Asia.

After a long day and many contentious decisions, the winners finally prevailed. Grange Park Rangers were the winners of the Tounament, although every team realised that they were all winners just by taking part in this charity tournament by showing their support and help.

A big thank you to all those who participated in this tournament and the volunteers who helped make this day such a success, namely Nadeem Afzal and Atif Younas.
