Rs100m relief package for IDPs announced

    ISLAMABAD (NNI): The Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) Pakistan has announced a relief package of Rs 100 million for the affectees of Buner, Swat & Lowar Dir, Chairman UWT Maulana Muhammad Idrees has said. Talking to reporters the Chairman said that all kind of facilities, like medical assistance, cooked food, juices and biscuits for innocent babies and special transport facility being provided to bring the affected population safely to the camps.

    Apart from this in all camps Ummah providing the community kitchen, built Masajid, dry ration and shelters for these people. The trust has also provided ration and other facilities of Rupees 2000 each to 210 Sikh families, who have migrated from Buner to Hasan Abdal. Meanwhile NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti hailed the spirit of Ummah Welfare trust chairman and said that the Ummah Welfare trust practically played a key role in this national disaster. He added that a huge relief package announced by the Ummah Welfare Trust (PAK) not only minimize the difficulties of the affected people but also inject the responsibilities of Provincial government and really posted a history which is unforgettable.

    Senior Minister NWFP Basheer Bilor, provincial minister for zakat &usher Zarshad khan, and all other minister also appreciated the work of Ummah Welfare Trust (PAK) and thanked the Chairman UWT (PAK)for this huge relief package.
