Ummah Children Academy in Pakistan is one of the mega projects of Ummah Welfare Trust. The construction of UCA was started in the year 2005 and more than 90 % of the construction work is completed. Poor orphans are enrolled and educated with modern education in order to alleviate poverty and improve prosperity in the society.

This institution is built to accommodate 1000 orphans, presently the total strength of UCA students is 369 and all these orphans are provided with lodging, clothing, schooling and health care facilities. Construction of two hostels is completed for accommodating these students but UCA is facing increasing demand for accommodating more every year. The current space will eventually be increased to accommodate and educate 1000 orphans.

UAC students’ age ranges from 6 to 15yrs and our courses are up to Year 8. The core subjects taught at UCA are Computer Science, English, Urdu, Arabic, Islamiyat, Nazirah, Hifz, Quranic Translation, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Training, Social Studies, History and Geography. English is the mode of education and all UCA teaching staffs are fully qualified and had graduated from universities with at least a Masters degree. The Principal is vastly experienced and has been head of the NWFP Teaching board for over 20 years. Therefore, the overall progress in the quality and standard of education so far has been outstanding.

    UCA Complex
Currently there are approximately 15-20 students per class and each class is taught by more than one teacher. As class rooms were constructed to accommodate 30-35 students per class, this number will be reached ultimately. Students are encouraged to speak English at all times at UCA in an attempt to improve their standard of spoken English. The students of UCA are disciplined, confident and not shy, if they are asked a question they will answer immediately with confidence. The UCA classrooms are spacious and clean, all students have a desk, satchel, pens books all provided by UCA.

In this quest Ummah welfare Trust (UWT) is seeking support from its valued donors and supporters to help to raise approximately GB£ 280,000 that will be required to construct more dormitories to accommodate the growing number of students.
