Urgent Appeal for 25 Ambulances

Ummah Welfare Trust has initiated a campaign to send twenty five ambulance from the UK to Pakistan, to help the 2 million people forced to flee their homes, due to the military operation in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan.

We plan to send 25 Toyota Hiace's, which are used in Pakistan as ambulances, we have calculated the costs (including shipping) for a quality second hand vehicle at £3,000 each. Ummah Welfare Trust is a registered charity in Pakistan, so it is exempt from all import taxes. We have decided against purchasing the vehicles in Pakistan as they will cost at least £10,000 each.

If a donor wishes to donate the vehicle they can do so, but the vehicle will need to be of low mileage and in good condition. All vehicles sent will be serviced and an MOT carried out.
