Gaza
Appeal

UWT have allocated £100,000 pounds for the Gaza Crisis Appeal. This
will provide 60 tonnes of flour, food parcels for 800 families, and
shelter improvement for 50 families. Similarly, fuel supplies, gas
light, and medicine have been distributed. More funds are required
to assist the Palestinians for medium and long term projects. Please

Slavery to
Freedom:

Due to the success of this project UWT have now initiated the
building of a village for the freed people. Plans have been drawn up
and construction work will begin soon Inshallah. |

Orphan

Feedback has been provided to most people who have sponsored an
orphan. Some feedback is still outstanding due to a slight delay in
receiving information from partner organisations abroad. A dedicated
email address () has been setup to address any issues or requests. |

Water Boring
Rig:

We are nearing the target of £150,000 to purchase the Deep Well
Boring Rig for Africa. A Sister & Brother in Scotland have taken on the
challenge to raise the remaining £30,000. Please

Masjid

There is an opportunity to donate towards the building of six
Masajid
in Pakistan/Kashmir costing £10,000 (normally UWT Masajid project
cost £3,000, due to them being a lot smaller) each. If you or an

The next phase of building the Senior Academic Building & the Hostel
1 has commenced. We still require funds, so donate toward these

Botad
House Construction

Following last year's floods in India, UWT allocated 11,000 pounds
to construct 20 houses for the poor people of Botad, 200 KM from the
Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India. The houses are now complete and have been
handed over to the 20 families. A total of 101 people have benefited
